It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:
Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang. :D
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Beijing Trip Day 1-7

Doing a summarized summary of my 1st week in Beijing!

Day 1

- Met up with Kotani at one of the subway stations to bring me to my hostel.
- Went to buy some winter accessories like scarves, gloves, and cap.
- Walk around 后海，前海，恭王府，同落大街。
- Also met up with Sakina went we are going for dinner.


Day 2

- Went to Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City with Kotani.
- Ate nice authentic old Beijing style food for dinner.


Day 3

- Casual portrait shoot with Kotani.
- Eva - Mari shoot with Kotani.
- Pretty unlucky that both locations aren't available for that day.


Day 4

- Went to Temple Of Heaven （天坛）with 4j, go there first thing they open in the morning is the best, minimal people for great proper photography opportunities!
- Ate at 东来顺 for lunch, pretty decent steamboat, but albeit overpriced.
- 4j also taught me some photography stuffs on architecture/building, as he does that for his living.
- Met Sakina later to walk around 王府井, man she really can eat! XDD! Especially 爆肚！


Day 5

- Zombie-ya Reiko solo shoot with Sakina at my hostel corridor.
- Zombie-ya Reiko couple shoot with Sakina and Kotani at 798.
- Photos are pretty good, just that if feel if we only concentrate to shoot for nights shot only, that will be even be better!
- Ate at some 新疆 restaurant near 798 for dinner.
- No hot water to bath at night...


Day 6

- Met up with Jo at 金鼎轩 for lunch, awesome dimsum food! (No wonder she said SKE girls went there to eat too)
- Went to Summer Palace （颐和园）
- We reached there quite late, about 1pm+, didn't managed to walk the whole place, but did saw the main areas.
- Did feel abit sick after the trip, due to the strong cold winds that day.
- Went to eat at Babela's Kitchen for dinner with a couple of Jo's friends, 86 and the other I forgot her name...
- Again no hot water to bath at night, so I did a 2mins quick bath, I almost thought my balls shrank...


Day 7

- FFXIII shoot with Jo and her friend
- Shoot was hit by unforeseen circumstances, but still did my best within an hour limit, due to -2 degree temperature even at 2pm.
- Went to eat at 后海9门小吃, it's something like Marche, but old Beijing food style!
- Walk around one of the Soho shopping mall, where every shops are of a single shop, there's no linked interior mall walkway!
- Again no hot water to bath at night, skipped bathing tonight, no more balls shrank 2 nights in a row...
